Probably! Our actor-driven productions are designed to adapt to a wide range of homes. Minimal scenery and flexible staging allow us to transform your room into an intimate theater without making major changes to your space.

Before you commit, we’ll conduct a site visit to review the room layout, determine the best audience size and seating arrangement, and identify performance, entrance, and actor preparation areas. We’ll confirm that the space is suitable before anything is final.

That might be an advantage! Staircases, hallways, doorways, and unexpected room shapes can create exciting theatrical possibilities and make the performance uniquely yours.

During the site visit, we’ll explore how to use the distinctive features of your home while making sure the space is safe and comfortable for performers and guests.

A member of the company visits your home to choose the playing area and plan audience seating. Site visits typically take less than 30 minutes, and enable us to meet union safety rules such as the location of exits, actor holding space, and bathroom access.

That depends on your home and the kind of gathering you’re planning. During the site visit, a Present Company team member will assess the layout, recommend the best seating arrangement, and confirm the maximum audience size for your space.

Most homes can comfortably accommodate between 15 and 30 guests.

Not necessarily. During the site visit, we’ll determine the best performance layout and let you know whether any furniture needs to be moved. On the day of the performance, our team will handle the theatrical setup and leave your home as we found it.

The actors will also need access to one private room from their arrival through the end of the event. A bedroom, office, or similar space usually works well.

Only if needed, and always with your permission. Any furniture moves or special arrangements will be discussed during the site visit, so there are no surprises on the day.

Not necessarily. We’ll work with the seating you already have and discuss any additional needs during the site visit. Depending on your room, guest count, and the atmosphere you’re creating, we may recommend a mix of chairs, sofas, benches, or other seating.

For larger gatherings, some hosts choose to rent additional chairs and Present Company can help with that.

Someone should be available when the company arrives, but you do not need to supervise the setup. We’ll take care of the production details while you focus on your guests.

For the safety and comfort of the performers, guests, and animals, pets should generally be kept in a separate room during setup and the performance. Any specific concerns can be discussed during the site visit.

Absolutely! While we do not currently offer a children’s production, parents can still host a Present Company performance. Some hosts plan their event while their children are out for the day or arrange for them to be in another part of the home during the performance.

Our current production, Psychopathia Sexualis, includes strong language and references to adult situations. We recommend it for audiences ages 14 and older.

This season’s production, Psychopathia Sexualis, runs approximately 85 minutes. Our team will arrive one hour before the performance to prepare and will need up to one hour afterward to pack up and return your home to its original setup.

Absolutely. A performance can be the centerpiece of a dinner, birthday, cocktail party, or other gathering. We’ll help you plan the timing so the show fits naturally into the event.

Beverages are welcome during the performance, but we generally recommend serving food before or after so guests can enjoy the show.

Present Company performances begin at $3,499. The final cost will depend on the specifics of your event, including date and guest count, and you’ll receive a transparent quote before booking.

Every dollar directly supports our troupe, including professional actor salaries, rehearsals, costumes, props, production materials, and the planning required to bring the performance into your home.

We understand that emergencies happen. Our cancellation and rescheduling terms are generous and will be clearly explained before booking and included in your quote and host agreement.
