Ways to host

A Present Company performance can be the occasion, or become part of one. Host it as a gift to your guests, plan it with friends, or bring it to a venue, building, club, or workplace.

01

Host for an occasion

Celebrating a birthday, planning a dinner, marking an anniversary, or simply looking for a good reason to gather your favorite people?

Cover the performance fee and treat your guests to a night they could not have anywhere else: a full professional play unfolding in the room with them.

The play works equally well for devoted theatergoers and people who hardly ever see a play. And no one will be short on things to talk about afterward.

Pair the performance with cocktails, dinner, or dessert. Welcome guests before the play, then let the evening continue after the final scene.

02

Share the cost with friends

A private performance does not have to be one person’s treat.

Gather 25 friends and the $2,500 minimum hosting fee comes to about $100 per person. Cheaper than tickets at a broadway show, and every seat is front row.

03

Mark an opening, launch, or milestone

Opening a venue, launching a product or project, unveiling a property, or celebrating a company milestone?

Make the performance part of the occasion. Because our production is built to travel, our professional actors can adapt the staging to apartments, galleries, offices, clubs, restaurants, hotels, and other distinctive spaces.

Rather than serving as a backdrop, the room itself becomes part of what your guests have come to see.

04

Bring it to your building, club, or company

Turn a residents’ lounge, private club, office, gallery, or shared amenity space into a theater for the night.

Invite residents, members, colleagues, clients, or your wider community to share something live, personal, and genuinely communal. We bring the actors and the play. You bring the room and the audience.

Have another idea?

We like unusual rooms and unusual reasons to gather. Tell us what you’re imagining, and we’ll help you figure out how the play might work there. The performance can be the entire occasion or the centerpiece of a larger one.

Plan it together

Should we host a play?

Send the idea to your friends, choose your guests, and turn the usual night out into a private performance of your own.
